Sec. 2-6.27. Conflicts of Interest.
   (a)   City employees shall comply with the City's Conflict of Interest Code; Administrative Manual Policy Number I-2-4, "Statement of Policy on Fraud"; the Code of Ethics, Rule XXIII of the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations; and pertinent laws and regulations, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
   (b)   Any architects or engineer, or other consultant, used by the City to assist in the development of any project-specific documents shall not be eligible to participate in the preparation or submission of a bid or proposal for that project, except as permitted by § 2-6.21.
   (c)   Pursuant to Cal. Govt. Code § 1126, employees of the City shall not engage in any business or activity that provides goods, services or public projects to the City. This subdivision shall not apply to the mere ownership of stock of the supplier of goods, services or Public Project, so long as the stock ownership is less than two (2) percent of the total outstanding stock of the supplier, and the supplier is a publicly traded company.
