(a) The east boundary for Ward 1 begins at the intersection of SR 309 and Home Road, proceeds north along the east boundary of the City of Ontario being the centerline of Home Road to a point on the north boundary of the City of Ontario.
(b) The north boundary of Ward 1 coincides with the north boundary of the City of Ontario between the east and west boundaries of the City of Ontario.
(c) The west boundary of Ward 1 coincides with the west boundary of the City of Ontario between the north boundary of the City of Ontario and the centerline of US 30, follows the centerline of US 30 east to the intersection of US 30 and Lexington-Springmill Road, and proceeds south along the centerline of Lexington-Springmill Road to West Fourth Street.
(d) The south boundary of Ward 1 begins at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Lexington-Springmill Road, and proceeds southeast along the centerline of West Fourth Street to SR 309, and proceeds northeast along the centerline of SR 309 to Home Road, which is the point of beginning.
