(a) Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
(b) Whoever violates or fails to comply with Section 836.17 shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
