230.03 FULL-TIME POSITION; OTHER SERVICE; CONFLICTS OF INTEREST; DUTIES; COMPENSATION.
   (a)   The position of Mayor in the City commencing with the term of office beginning January 1, 1998 shall be a full-time position.
   (b)   Effective January 1, 1998, the Mayor shall not hold any other public office or public employment, nor shall he or she hold any full or part-time public or private employment that would interfere with his or her duties as Mayor of the City of Olmsted Falls, except that of Notary Public or a member of the State Militia or Reserve Corps of the United States or a member of any regional board, commission or council of governments. He or she shall not be interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, job, work or service with or for the Municipality as provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio.
   (c)   The Mayor's responsibilities and duties shall be as set forth in Article IV of the Charter of the City and these Codified Ordinances, which may be further defined, extended or established by ordinance or the Charter, from time to time.
   (d)   The compensation for the full-time position of Mayor, effective January 1,2002, shall be as established by Council from time to time. In addition, the full-time Mayor shall be entitled to receive the following benefits:
      (1)   Fifteen paid vacation days per year;
      (2)   Hospitalization and life insurance in accordance with Sections 254.06 and 254.07, except that the full-time Mayor shall not receive additional compensation for his or her refusal of either of the aforementioned coverages;
      (3)   Mileage allowance pursuant to Section 254.11; and
      (4)   Reimbursement for all out-of-pocket expenses reasonably incurred in the performance of the duties associated with the office of full-time Mayor.
