SECTION 5.01. MEMBERSHIP, ELECTION, AND TERM.

The legislative power of the Municipality shall be vested in a Council consisting of seven (7) members. One (1) Councilman shall be elected from each of the four (4) wards in the Municipality and three (3) shall be elected at large. All members of Council shall be elected for a term of two (2) years commencing on January 1st of the year following the date of their election.
