ARTICLE I
NAME AND BOUNDARIES
SECTION 1.01. NAME AND BOUNDARIES.
   The Municipality, now known as Olmsted Falls in the County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, shall continue to be a body politic and corporate with all the privileges and powers pertaining thereto. The provisions of this Charter shall apply whether this Municipality is a Village, City, or another type of municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Ohio.
   The boundaries that now exist shall remain the same, with, however, the Municipality having the power and authority to change the boundaries and annex contiguous territory in the manner authorized by the general laws of the State of Ohio; except that neither the Municipality nor any portion thereof shall be annexed to any other municipality without the consent of Council by at least a two-thirds (2/3) affirmative vote of the members elected thereto and an affirmative vote by at least two-thirds (2/3) of the electors voting on such question at a general election held and conducted in the manner provided by law.
   Territory added to the Municipality shall immediately become subject to the provisions of this Charter.
