§ 34.01 JAILER AND BAIL BONDS.
   The County Jailer be and hereby is authorized to prepare or accept bail bonds.

§ 34.02 COUNTY POLICE FORCE MERIT SYSTEM.
   The purpose of this section is to create a county police merit system enacted under the provisions of KRS 78.400 to 78.480 inclusive and by this section, the Fiscal Court does hereby create a police merit system and empowers the County Judge-Executive to appoint a four-member Board pursuant to KRS 78.410 and empowers the Board to act pursuant to and under KRS 78.400 to 78.480 inclusive.

§ 34.03 AUTHORIZATION FOR COUNTY POLICE OFFICERS TO CARRY CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPONS.
   All police officers regardless of rank, duty or authority, employed by the county as police officers are hereby expressly authorized to carry concealed deadly weapons on or about their persons at all times within the state.
