§ 150.07  UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS.
   (A)   It is adopted by the city for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures, including permits and penalties, located within the corporate limits of the city for the abatement of dangerous buildings, that certain Uniform Code known as the Uniform Code,  being particularly the 1982 edition, including the appendix all published by the International Conference of Building Officials: Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1982 Edition and the whole thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted,  modified or amended, of which not less than one copy has been and now is filed in the office of the finance officer, and the same is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein,  and from the date on which the ordinance codified herein shall take effect. The provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city.
   (B)   The governing body is authorized to adopt and the Building Inspector and Health Officer shall promulgate rules and regulations deemed necessary for the proper and effective administration of the provisions of this section. Such rules and regulations shall be consistent with the provision of this section and the standards established herein.
