Any full time or part time employee, or a team of eligible employees, may participate in the program. Elected officials, the chief administrative officer, the executive director of the city council, and department directors, are not eligible for an award under this program. Employees are ineligible to receive monetary awards for suggestions that fall within the employee's normal job duties, responsibilities, and assigned tasks.
