17-2-3: RECORDING OF DESIGNATION:
When a site, structure, building, interior space, natural feature, historic district, or other historic resource has been designated by the city council, as provided in section 17-2-2 of this chapter, the commission shall promptly notify the owners of the property included therein. Upon official designation, the city recorder shall record the designation with the county recorder's office to indicate such designation on the official title thereof. The commission will also deposit a listing of designated historic resources with the planning commission and inspection services division.
