1010-3: RESPONSIBILITIES:
   A.   Mayor: Approve and sign the operating policies and procedures of Ogden City.
   B.   Chief Administrative Officer:
      1.   Review, for approval, recommendations from the department directors for policy and procedure change.
      2.   Ensure that all policies and procedures adopted are consistent with Ogden City's administrative code and ordinances as well as the overall philosophy of Ogden City.
   C.   Department Directors:
      1.   Adhere to all adopted policies and procedures.
      2.   Recommend changes or enhancements for any policy or procedure to the chief administrative officer, providing input and background information for the policy under review. (See policy 1020, "New Or Revised Policy And Procedure Development", of this manual.)
      3.   Develop departmental procedures for line operations which are consistent with the policies and procedures contained in this manual and other Ogden City manuals.
      4.   Inform employees of new or revised policies and procedures.
      5.   Distribute the policies and procedures within their department to all administrative policy manual holders.
   D.   City Recorder: Keep original policy and procedure documents stored and filed as part of Ogden City official documentation process.
   E.   Administrative Policy Manual Holder:
      1.   Ensure that the administrative policy manual is maintained and kept up to date as policies and procedures are adopted or amended.
      2.   Ensure availability of the administrative policy manual to all Ogden City employees working within the department.
   F.   Employees: Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in this manual. (Eff. 3-14-2007)
