It is the purpose of this policy to establish requirements for executing a waiver, indemnity and release of liability before engaging in skydiving activities at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport. Given that skydiving is an aeronautical activity that bears substantial risk of injury or death and is an activity for which insurance coverage is limited or unavailable, a waiver, indemnity and release of liability is an essential risk management tool to mitigate the city's potential liability arising out of this activity on city owned airport property.
