In accordance with Utah worker compensation laws, Ogden City is allowed to designate a medical provider for work related accident/illness. Ogden City has selected WorkMed and McKay-Dee Hospital emergency room. Payment to other physicians for industrial accidents will not be made unless referred by WorkMed, the McKay-Dee Hospital, or a "change of physician" form is completed in the management services department and approved by the Utah state industrial commission. (Eff. 3-14-2007)
