It is the policy of Ogden City to:
   A.   Report all motor vehicle and/or property accidents, regardless of the severity, immediately upon their occurrence. All vehicle accidents must be reported to the Ogden City police department. Any damage or accident involving hazardous conditions (i.e., downed traffic signs, damaged fire hydrants, etc.) should be reported to the appropriate department or to the dispatch center for proper notification.
   B.   Follow Ogden City's employee injury policy if a city employee is injured as a result of an accident, or has the possibility of injuries resulting from an accident.
   C.   Complete, sign and forward all damage report forms to the appropriate division within twenty four (24) hours.
   D.   Follow all necessary repair procedures.
   E.   Follow the guidelines for reimbursement from the responsible third party for damages of city property. (Eff. 3-14-2007)
