The completed plat shall be submitted to the agent for approval. The plat shall not be approved until the subdivider has complied with the general requirements and minimum standards of design in accordance with this Chapter 156 and has made satisfactory arrangements for performance bond, cash, or cash bond to cover the cost of necessary improvements, in lieu of construction, to the satisfaction of the town. Upon the approval by the agent, the plat will be signed by the agent, marked “approved”, and returned to the subdivider, who will cause the plat to be recorded in the Clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of the county. No plat shall be recorded until approval has been made. If the plat submission is denied, the agent will return the plat to the subdivider, indicating corrections to be made by the subdivider.
