The agent shall discuss the preliminary plat with the subdivider in order to determine whether or not the preliminary plat generally conforms to the requirements of this chapter, Chapter 152 of this code, Chapter 157 of this code, VDOT, Health Department, and any other appropriate ordinance, rule, or regulation. Within 60 days of the preliminary plat submission, the subdivider shall be advised, in writing, by formal letter or by legible markings on the preliminary plat, of any additional data that may be required, and the character and extent of public improvements that will have to be made.
