So that we may have the benefits of municipal home rule and exercise all of the powers of local self-government conferred under the Constitution and Statutes of the State of Ohio, and to preserve the traditional and historic values of our Community, we, the citizens of Obetz, Ohio, proudly adopt this Charter for our Municipality.
