1131.01 AUTHORITY AND TITLE.
   This Zoning Ordinance is adopted under the provisions of Ohio R.C. Chapters 713.06- 713.15, as may be amended. This Ordinance shall be known as the “Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Obetz, Ohio” and may be cited as such, as “this Ordinance” or as “the Zoning Ordinance.”
1131.02 INTERPRETATION.
   In their interpretation and application, the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance shall be held to be minimum requirements, adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety, and the general welfare. Whenever the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance are at variance with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted rules, regulations, or Ordinances, the most restrictive, or that imposing the higher standards shall govern.
1131.03 SEPARABILITY.
   Should any section or provision of the Zoning Ordinance be declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the Zoning Ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the part so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.
1131.04 REPEAL AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
   All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Zoning Ordinance or inconsistent with the provisions of this Zoning Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent necessary to give this Zoning Ordinance full force and effect. The Zoning Ordinance shall become effective from and after the date of its approval and adoption, as provided by law.
1131.05 ERRORS AND OMISSIONS.
   If a manifest error be discovered consisting of the misspelling of any word or words, the omission of any word or words necessary to express the intention of the provisions affected, the use of a word or words to which no meaning can be attached, or the use of a word or words when another word or words was clearly intended to express such intent, such spelling shall be corrected and such word or words supplied, omitted or substituted as will conform with the manifest intention and the provision shall have the same effect as though the correct word were contained in the text as originally published. No such alteration shall be made or permitted if any question exists regarding the nature or extent of such error.
