Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231 there is hereby adopted by the City of Oberlin, and incorporated as if fully set out herein, to establish uniform minimum requirements for the erection, construction, repair, alteration, and maintenance of buildings, including construction of industrialized units. Such requirements shall relate to the conservation of energy, safety, and sanitation of buildings for their intended use and occupancy Ohio Building Code, 2017 Edition, promulgated by the Ohio Board of Building Standards pursuant to Ohio R.C. 3781.10.
