(a) No overhead electrical conductors shall be installed within fifteen feet of any swimming pool. All metal fences, enclosures or railings near or adjacent to a swimming pool to which bathers have access, which may become electrically alive as a result of contact with broken overhead conductors or from any other cause, shall be effectively grounded.
(b) All electric wiring shall conform to requirements of the most current edition of the National Electrical Code. Installation shall be underground in approved conduit.
(c) All plumbing necessary for the connection of the intake or the outlet of a swimming pool to the City water system or sewer system shall conform to the requirements of the Plumbing Code of the City and to any requirement of the City Engineer or the Division of Water and Division of Wastewater Treatment of the City.
(d) There shall be no direct cross-connection with the City or home water supply and the water supply for the pool.
(e) During water shortages, the filling of swimming pools shall be regulated by the Public Works Director, regulating the use of water supply for lawn sprinkling.
(f) No swimming pool shall be drained during periods of excessive rainfall so as to overload the City sewer system.
(g) The swimming pool and equipment shall be equipped to be completely emptied of water and the discharged water shall be disposed of in an approved manner which shall not create a nuisance to adjoining property.
