1147.99 PENALTY.
   Any person or his/her agent who shall install, alter, maintain or repair electrical systems, appliances and equipment contrary to the provisions of this Electrical Code, or violate such provisions by allowing the work to be done by unauthorized persons, or is unauthorized to perform the work, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, in addition to other penalties provided herein, be fined a sum not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both. Each day the violation exists beyond the time allotted for correction shall constitute a new offense.
