1143.03 LICENSE FEES; RECIPROCITY.
   Before a license is granted to any applicant, and before any expiring license is renewed, the applicant shall pay the City a fee in an amount as provided by ordinance. Upon determination that the purposes of this Electrical Code and the public interest will not be hindered, the Housing Renewal Commission shall have the power to waive the respective licensing requirements as to technical qualifications and grant the license upon payment of the appropriate fee and the posting of the appropriate bonds in cases of applicants who are licensed contractors in respective fields in other municipalities which require licenses for contractors in the same field for which the particular license in question is being applied for, and which allow electricians licensed by the City to do work in such other municipalities by virtue of the license granted by the City.
