(a) The Street Tree Planting Plan shall be maintained as part of the City of Oberlin Public Works Standards.
(b) The Street Tree Planting Plan shall list approved species for planting in the curb lawn based on the available growth area for the tree. The Public Works Standards will define small, medium and large site requirements. To the extent feasible, tree species shall be selected to match the available growth area.
(c) In order to maintain and improve the health and diversity of the urban forest, the City Manager may restrict the planting of certain species.
(d) Upon written request and with the recommendation of an ISA certified arborist, other species not included in the Street Tree Planting Plan may be approved by the City Manager.
