The R-3 District is created to provide for single-family residential uses at a density of not more than 5.8 dwelling units per gross acre. The minimum lot size required herein is based upon those conditions ordinarily existing in the village at the time of adoption. All provisions contained herein are deemed just and necessary to the public health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the village.
