It shall be unlawful for any operator of a bicycle, rollerskates, rollerblades, skateboard or scooter to operate said mode of transportation on the sidewalks in the downtown district area from State Route 19 to the Norfolk and Southern tracks on Water Street and also from the business alley between Water Street and Main Street from State Route 19 to the Norfolk and Southern tracks within the village. Any operator violating this provision is subject to confiscation of the mode of transportation for a period of six months or, upon the discretion of the Chief of Police, shall be charged with a minor misdemeanor.
