§ 112.62 INVESTIGATION OF APPLICATION; APPROVAL.
   Within 30 days after receiving an application for vehicle towing service list, the Chief of Police shall conduct an investigation to determine the truth and accuracy of the information contained in the application. Upon completion of his or her investigation, the Chief shall forward a copy of the application to the Business License Commissioner along with a recommendation for approval or disapproval and the reasons, if any, for disapproval. Upon receiving the application, the Business License Commissioner, on behalf of the city, shall determine whether or not the applicant has complied with necessary standards and criteria. If he or she finds that the applicant is qualified, the applicant’s name shall be placed at the end of the towing list.
