§ 110.050 INSURANCE.
   Certificates of insurance that certify that each developer and all contractors registered under this chapter, including plumbing contractors registered by the State of Illinois, has liability and workers’ compensation insurance are required. The certificates of insurance shall name the city and its elected and appointed officers, employees, attorneys, consultants and volunteers as additional insureds. No registration shall be permitted under this subchapter for any such person until current certificates of insurance, in the form prescribed in this section, for both liability and workers’ compensation are presented to the City Clerk. The minimum amounts for comprehensive general liability insurance are $1,000,000 for bodily injury or death or combined single limits for bodily injury or death for $1,000,000 per occurrence and $500,000 for property damage.
