(A) Adoption. The City of Oak Forest adopts the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code and Referenced Standards and Appendix A, as published by the International Code Council as the Property Maintenance Code of the City of Oak Forest.
(B) Amendments to the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code.
(1) Section 101.1 Title. [Name of Jurisdiction] Insert: The City of Oak Forest.
(2) Section 103.5 Fees. [Jurisdiction to insert appropriate schedule] Insert: The minimum charge shall be four hundred dollars ($400).
(3) Section 112.4 Failure to Comply. [Amount] [Amount] Insert: One hundred dollars ($100), seven hundred fifty dollars ($750).
(4) Section 302.4 Weeds. [Height in Inches] Insert: 7".
(5) Section 304.14 Insect Screens. [Date to Date] Insert: From April 15 through November 1.
(6) Add Section 507.2 Drainage Discharge. No sump pump or downspout discharge shall adversely affect adjacent properties. Sump pumps shall discharge to a point no closer then ten feet (10') to any property line. Downspouts shall discharge no closer than three feet (3') to any side yard property line and ten feet (10') from any front or rear yard property line.
(7) Section 602.3 Heat Supply. [Date to Date] Insert: From September 15 through June 1.
(8) Section 602.4 Occupiable Work Spaces. [Date to Date] Insert: From October 1 through June 1.
