(A) The management, supervision and control of the mobile intensive care unit is hereby vested in the Chief, who shall be responsible for the government, efficiency and good conduct of the members thereof and who shall be considered the head of the unit.
(B) The Chief shall have sole control and command over all persons connected with the unit program of the city. He or she shall have full power to prescribe and enforce rules and regulations for the government of the members of the unit, which shall not be inconsistent with the ordinances of the city, the laws of the state or the rules and regulations promulgated by the mobile intensive care unit resource hospital.
