§ 52.039 SEWER CONNECTION STANDARDS.
   The connection of a building sewer into a public sewer shall conform to the requirements of the Building Code and the Plumbing Code or other applicable rules and regulations of the city, or to the procedures set forth in appropriate specifications of the American Society of Testing Materials, Water Pollution Control Federation Manual Practice No. 9, and Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois. All the connections shall be made gastight and watertight. Any deviation from the prescribed procedures and materials must be approved by the city before installation.
