The Historian shall:
(A) Keep records of the history of the city, in both written and digital form;
(B) Gather and solicit local historical resources for purposes of research and preservation;
(C) Conduct meetings, training, presentations and other opportunities to discuss Oak Forest historical resources;
(D) Investigate and apply for appropriate funding sources for historic preservation;
(E) Coordinate efforts of any volunteers seeking to assist historic preservation in Oak Forest; and
(F) Submit an annual report to the Mayor and City Council.
