(A) When structural, plumbing, electrical, ventilation or similar defects exist in an established food facility that may require significant expenditures to correct, but are not considered to be imminent health hazards, a conditional permit, license or certificate may be granted at the discretion of the city.
(B) Under no circumstances will a conditional permit, license or certificate be issued for more than two consecutive 12-month periods.
(C) The purpose of the conditional license or permit is to allow a reasonable period of time for correction of existing defects.
