§ 157.07 PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND WAGES.
   (a)   All employees shall be paid bi-weekly. The pay period shall end every two weeks on Sunday at 12:00 a.m. Paychecks shall be made available the following Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. unless the payroll office notifies the supervisors and/or employees that checks may be distributed earlier.
   (b)   The scheduled pay dates for all employees may be changed by the Mayor and/or Town Council.
   (c)   Employees shall be compensated only for designated work periods. Clocking in early and/or clocking out late shall not result in overtime compensation and should be avoided unless scheduled by the supervisor.
   (d)   Employees who have been laid off, discharged, retired or separated from employment with the Town of Nutter Fort will be compensated by check for any unused vacation time earned and accumulated at the time of separation.
   (e)   EMS employees will receive an additional $1.25 per hour of pay in exchange for EMS employees only receiving the following paid holidays:
      (1)   New Year’s Day;
      (2)   Memorial Day;
      (3)   Independence Day;
      (4)   Labor Day;
      (5)   Thanksgiving Day;
      (6)   Christmas Day.
   (f)   EMS employees shall not receive paid holidays for any other days as the President, Governor, or other duly constituted authority proclaim to be official holidays or days of special observance or days for the general cessation of business and shall not receive any additional holiday given at the discretion of the Mayor.
