§ 133.01 POWERS AND DUTIES GENERALLY.
   The Town Recorder shall keep the journal of the proceedings of Council, and he or she shall have charge of and preserve the records of the town. Unless otherwise provided by state law, whenever the Mayor is unable because of illness or absence from the town to perform the duties of his or her office, and during any vacancy in the office of Mayor, the Recorder shall perform the duties of the Mayor and be invested with all of his or her power and authority.
