(EDITOR'S NOTE: See Section 501.99 for penalties applicable to any misdemeanor classification.)
(a) Any property owner or occupant of any property in the City, who allows storage of junk, refuse, abandoned vehicles and other material as defined in Section 523.01(a) on the property owned or occupied by him in violation of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Whoever neglects to abate and remove such material after notice thereof as provided in this chapter shall, for each twenty-four hours thereafter during which such nuisance continues, be subject to a like penalty as that originally incurred.
(b) Whoever places, stores or allows an inoperative motor vehicle on any property in violation of this chapter shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and, a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which such violation occurs or continues. In the event of any such violation by a corporation such violation shall equally be determined committed by the president of such corporation, who shall in such event, be determined personally amenable to the provisions of this chapter and subject to fine hereunder by reason of such violation.
