161.05 POWERS.

The Norwalk Self-Insurance Board is directed and empowered to consider any and all claims made against the City of Norwalk, its officers, boards, employees and all other City instrumentalities for the purpose of adjusting, settling, and/or defending such claims; and for the specific purpose of authorizing the Director of Finance and other designated City agents to make payments from the previously created Self-Insurance Fund for the adjustment or defense of any uninsured claims.
