719.14 PROHIBITIONS.

   (a)   No person shall conduct Temporary Sales in parks, on sidewalks or on property owned by the City without the prior, specific written consent of the Safety/Service Director.

   (b)   No person shall conduct Temporary Sales of alcoholic beverages in contravention of Chapter 529 of the Norwalk Codified Ordinances.

   (c)   No person shall conduct Temporary Sales or direct solicitation at any location other than that specified on the permit issued by the Safety/Service Director. In the event of mobile Temporary Sales or direct solicitation, no person shall conduct Temporary Sales or direct solicitation at any location not included on the route specified on the permit issued by the Safety/Service Director.

   (d)   No person shall conduct Temporary Sales or direct solicitation of any product or service for which a permit or license is required by any applicable local, state or federal law or regulation without first obtaining such permit or license.

   (e)   No person shall conduct direct solicitation at any premises listed on the "No Solicitation" list maintained pursuant to Section 719.15 or at which is posted a sign substantially indicating no soliciting.

   (f)   No person conducting direct solicitation shall fail to cease any solicitation upon being instructed to do so by the person to whom the solicitation is directed.
