133.01 FINANCE DIRECTOR.
(a) Pursuant to Section 5.04 of the Charter of the City of Norwalk, the Finance Director shall be selected by the Chief Executive Officer and appointed by City Council. The Finance Director may be discharged upon a recommendation of the Chief Executive Officer approved by a majority vote of City Council.
(b) Day to day supervision of the Finance Director shall be vested in the Chief Executive Officer.
(c) A performance review of the Finance Director shall be conducted on an annual basis. The review shall be conducted by the Chief Executive Officer. The results of the review shall be reduced to writing and shall be provided to all members of Council.
(d) The compensation of the Finance Director shall be set by City Council in the Management Pay Ordinance. (Ord. 2022-027. Passed 8-16-22.)
