(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to place any type sign advertising yard sales, garage sales, promotional sales, events, and the like on any traffic-control sign or street sign within the corporate limits of the city.
(B) Any sign placed upon city property shall be removed within 24 hours following the sale, event, and the like.
(C) It shall be the duty of every police officer to obtain the name of the person or persons in violation of divisions (A) and (B) above and to obtain a summons or warrant for the persons to appear in District Court.
