1640.05 FIRE DISTRICTS; PERMITS REQUIRED.

Fire districts established by ordinance of Council providing, within geographical areas specified by ordinance, uses or capacities otherwise prohibited by Section 1640.02, 1640.03 or 1640.04, shall be subject to all applicable restrictions and limitations of the Ohio Fire Code for the respective uses, including the permit requirements provided for therein. Only the Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention is authorized to issue permits for uses within fire districts which do not conform to Section 1640.02, 1640.03 or 1640.04, as applicable.
