1640.04 BULK STORAGE OF LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   (a)   The bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas in excess of 2,000 gallons aggregate water capacity on any one lot is prohibited throughout the City, except in such fire districts as may be established by ordinance of Council. No one storage container for liquefied petroleum gas shall exceed 1,000 gallons aggregate water capacity unless it is located within a fire district established by ordinance of Council which specifically permits storage in containers larger than 1,000 gallons.

   (b)   Pursuant to subsection (a) hereof, an exception to the bulk storage requirements for liquefied petroleum gas is hereby granted for the installation of an above ground storage facility for liquefied petroleum gas, and a fire district for such purpose is hereby established at the site of Fomo Products, Inc., 2775 Barber Road, Norton, Ohio, subject to the following conditions:
      (1)   The subject fire district shall be co-extensive with the survey of the Fomo Products property on file with the City.
      (2)   The installation and maintenance of the storage tanks and affected structures shall be strictly in accordance with the plot map for such installation on file with the City.
      (3)   The installation and maintenance of such facility shall be in accordance with all applicable building and fire codes, pursuant to this authorization, and only upon the issuance of the applicable permit from the Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
