No amusement device shall be offered for public use until the owner of such device has received from the Superintendent of Building and Zoning Inspection written acknowledgment of the receipt of the certificate of inspection required by Section 1484.11, together with a statement that such device is safe for public use. This section applies to temporary installations as well as permanent installations.
