(a) The face of ground bulletins shall be made of sheet metal or other noncombustible, strong and durable material. The moldings, cappings and lattice work may be of combustible material. The supports and braces may be of combustible material, except as required in Section 1454.31.
(b) Where ground bulletin supports and braces of wood construction extend into the ground, such supports and braces shall be sufficiently imbedded and anchored in the ground or in concrete to resist the stresses to be transmitted by them to the ground. Supports and braces, when of steel construction, shall be imbedded in concrete sufficiently to resist the stresses to be transmitted by them to the ground. The facing supports, bracing and anchorage shall be sufficient to withstand the dead loads and wind loads as required in Chapter 1444 and the Ohio Building Code.
(c) The part of wood posts and braces which enter the ground, plus six inches, shall be treated with an approved wood preservative.
(d) The posts or columns for ground bulletins constructed without back bracing shall be of steel or similar noncombustible and durable material and shall be designed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1444 and the Ohio Building Code.
