(a) The subdivider shall furnish such insurance as is deemed necessary to the City Council, which insurance shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Norton from any and all liability arising by reason of the unimproved conditions of the streets of said subdivision, which may arise or grow out of the construction or installation of such facilities when undertaken.
(b) The insurance shall be of such duration as determined by the City Council, but shall in no case be allowed to expire earlier than the effective period of any maintenance bond.
(c) A copy of the insurance policy shall remain at all times with the Clerk of Council of the City of Norton.
(d) The subdivider shall provide and maintain until final completion the following insurance:
(1) General Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence.
(2) Workers' Compensation Insurance in such limits as provided by law.
(3) Auto Liability Insurance with a combined single limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000).
(4) The City must be named as additional insured with regard to General Liability and the City must receive 30 days advance written notice of policy cancellation, non-renewal, reduction of limits or other material modification.
