(a) No person shall raise or keep any horse or other equine animal, as set forth in Ohio R.C. 959.16, within the corporate limits of the City without first having obtained a written permit from the Chief of Police for such purpose. Such permit shall be granted on a form prescribed by the Chief. The fee for such permit shall be as set forth in Chapter 208 of the Administration Code - the General Fee Schedule.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
