436.15 PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION.
   (a)   No person shall give information relating to a motor vehicle accident required in a report or otherwise required under the laws of the State or of the City knowing or having reason to believe that such information is false or forged, or, without authority, sign any evidence or proof of financial responsibility, or file or offer for filing any such evidence or proof knowing or having reason to believe that it is forged or signed without authority.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
