676.03   ASSESSMENT OF COSTS RELATING TO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY NUISANCE.
If, after service of a notice referred to in Section 676.02, a third or subsequent nuisance activity, as defined by Section 676.01, occurs on the property within twelve (12) months of the date of the written notice of declaration of a criminal activity nuisance property, the costs incurred by the City to respond to the criminal activity nuisance on the property shall be assessed against the affected property. The costs incurred by the City to respond to and abate the nuisance shall be calculated by multiplying the highest hourly wage of a patrol officer by the number of police officers, EMS or other safety related personnel involved in the response to the criminal nuisance activity times the number of hours required by the police officers to respond to the nuisance in hourly increments, with a minimum of one (1) hour, and adding an administrative charge of two hundred dollars ($200.00) or ten percent (10%) of the total response costs, whichever is greater. The costs shall also include the cost of materials, medical equipment and pharmaceutical materials or other medical supplies.
