250.01 AUTHORITY OF ADMINISTRATOR.

The Administrator, under the authority of Section 8.01 of the City Charter, shall be the executive head of the Volunteer Fire Department. He or she shall be responsible for the prevention of fires, the protection of life and property against fire and the provision of emergency medical treatment and transportation for the City.
