1040.11 TAP CHARGE FOR OREGON ROAD CONNECTIONS.
   (a)   There is hereby adopted a tap charge for any person connecting to the Oregon Road water line, which tap charge shall be at the rate set forth in Chapter 208 of the Administration Code - the General Fee Schedule.
   (b)   Before connecting to the water line, the owner of the property shall apply to the Zoning Inspector, which application shall include a description of the lands to which the permit applies and the use of such land for which the connection is requested. Such permit shall be issued upon payment of the charge for the use of any number of acres set forth in the application. In the event that there is any acreage less than one acre, then the minimum fee for any connection shall be as set forth in Chapter 208 of the Administration Code - the General Fee Schedule.
   (c)   The amounts herein set forth constitute the basic tap charge and shall be effective for two years after the effective date of this section (Ordinance 74-13, passed January 24, 1974). The amount shall thereafter increase at the rate of three percent per year for the next ten years and thereafter shall remain the same as the charge at the end of the twelfth year from the effective date of this section.
   (d)   All tap charges paid under this section shall be paid into the General Fund.
