(a) The accommodation water line and/or tap shall be subject to the following provisions:
(1) The accommodation water line and/or tap may be granted to an applicant in the Village if, in the judgment of the Village, such installation is feasible from the standpoint of engineering.
(2) The accommodation water line and/or tap must be made and installed within the public right of way.
(3) The applicant shall install and maintain the accommodation water line and/or tap at his own expense and such installation shall be in conformity with such rules and regulations as are present at the time of the installation.
(4) No more than one accommodation water line and/or tap shall be allowed for any one parcel.
(5) At the time of the application for the accommodation water line and/or tap, the applicant shall pay to the Village a fee as set forth in Chapter 208 of the Administration Code - the General Fee Schedule. In all instances, applicants shall pay for the actual front footage when such frontage is less than 300 feet.
(b) All funds collected under the provisions of this section for the front footage charges shall be deposited and maintained in a special water line construction fund to be used for future construction of service lines in areas to be serviced where such accommodation water line and/or tap fees have been paid into the fund.
(c) Applications for accommodation water line and/or taps shall be made on such forms as may be prescribed by the Mayor and shall contain such covenants and agreements as may be necessary to carry out the intent and provisions of this section.
(d) Property which is serviced by an accommodation water line and/or tap and for which the charges as set forth in this section have been paid by the applicant shall not be assessed for any improvement by way of construction of service water lines in, over or along the property which is being serviced by the accommodation water line and/or tap and for which funds have already been deposited with the Village.
(e) Each application for an accommodation water line and/or tap shall contain the full legal description of the parcel of ground or property to be serviced, and only one such accommodation water line and/or tap shall be installed for each parcel of property.
